New "Economy" P2 Cards Coming From Panasonic
I had been one of the first people to lament that Panasonic wasn't producing inexpensive P2 media, but now I'm sorta impressed that Panasonic has gotten the hints and is producing a cheaper media. They just might keep this struggling format yet. Studiodaily.com has the details but here's the gist:
New cards are a bit over half the price they used to be, with 64 gigs now running $998.00 compared to $1650.00 for the current 32GB card (non E). They are the "E" model cards and now only have a five year lifespan (five years of daily use). Fine by me! I'm sold!
